We are supporting one of our global clients in the IT and networking sector in their search for an experienced Consulting Engineer. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to customers across the European region, leading complex Data Center and Cloud infrastructure projects. You will design, test, and support cutting-edge networking solutions, working closely with clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
This role is a great opportunity for a technically skilled professional who enjoys both hands-on problem solving and building long-term customer relationships. The position is based in Kraków or Warsaw with a hybrid arrangement (3 days in the office per week).

Your tasks
- Act as a trusted advisor, building strong, long-term relationships with customers across the European region
- Lead or participate in complex Data Center and Cloud infrastructure projects (networking focus)
- Solve cross-functional technical challenges involving networking, ACI, VXLAN, NMS, and automation
- Test and validate solutions in internal labs before deployment
- Provide technical support during customer software and hardware upgrades
- Participate in status meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
- Support Project Managers in project tracking and resolution of issues
- Manage your own deliverables while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
What we expect
- Proven experience in designing, deploying, and supporting Networking and Data Center solutions
- Strong understanding of networking protocols and technologies: Cisco ACI, VXLAN, OSPF, BGP, STP, VLANs, VPC, QoS
- Good knowledge of Data Center concepts, architectures, and industry trends
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus devices
- Practical knowledge of Cisco ACI
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently, influence stakeholders, and act as a trusted consultant
Preferred skills (a plus):
- Broader knowledge of networking technologies (security, service-provider, enterprise)
- Familiarity with public cloud providers
- Experience with operating systems administration (Linux, Windows Server)
- Knowledge of virtualization and containers
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar)
- Strong consulting and client-facing skills, with a collaborative and innovative mindset
