For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Business Analyst – Data Prduct Analyst & Data Platfroms
Location: Warsaw – 2-3 days from office
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation
Rate: 120-170zł/h net on B2B
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: business hours

Requirements:
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst in a data-focused environment
- Proven ability to understand, define and document data, including business terms, metrics and logic
- Experience working with stakeholders to elicit and refine data requirements and translate them into clear specifications
- Practical experience working with data models, data structures and transformations, including mapping and lineage
- Strong understanding of data context and business meaning, not just technical structures
- Experience working with data platforms (Data Lake / Data Warehouse / MDM)
- Exposure to Databricks or similar cloud-based platforms
- Working knowledge of SQL, with ability to explore and validate datasets
- Experience working with structured and semi-structured data
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments, including user story definition and backlog refinement
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a bridge between business and technical teams
- Experience in financial services, with understanding of: core financial data concepts (e.g. financial statements, performance metrics, KPIs and how data supports decision-making and reporting in investment environments
- Excel
- Exposure to Unity Catalog or similar tooling
Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a Data Product Analyst whose primary focus will be to understand data, define it clearly, and ensure it is used correctly across the organisation.
- This role sits at the centre of the data lifecycle — working with business stakeholders to capture requirements, establish common definitions, and document how data should be structured and consumed. The role also works closely with Data Engineers to ensure these definitions are accurately reflected in data pipelines, models, and outputs.
- A key aspect of the role is data definition and documentation — including business terms, data logic, and metadata — and maintaining these within the Databricks environment (including Unity Catalog). The goal is to ensure that data is consistent, trusted, and easily understood by end users.
- You will be embedded within an agile delivery team, acting as the link between business and technology, and ensuring that delivered data is meaningful, usable, and aligned with business needs.
