We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join one of the most critical product teams at GSK, supporting audit infrastructure. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join one of the most critical product teams at GSK, supporting audit infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys building and improving systems, and can bridge operational, tactical, and strategic layers of DevOps.
???? Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage infrastructure using Terraform (60–70% of current scope).
- Build and maintain monitoring infrastructure for Azure resources (60–70% of current scope).
- Upgrade infrastructure components of a key audit application.
- Implement and manage Velero backups and disaster recovery mechanisms in Azure.
- Monitor and maintain AKS clusters, pods, and deployments.
- Manage Linux-based systems and Docker containers.
- Document infrastructure and configuration setups.
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with support teams (L1/L2) and act as a tactical problem-solver.
- Work closely with the Product Owner and UK-based Architect.
???? Required Skills: - Intermediate: Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure monitoring, Velero, disaster recovery in Azure, Linux, Docker, YAML, documentation.
- Basic: Azure SQL (Elastic Pools, SQL Server, SQL DB), Helm, Azure AD, Azure Monitor, App Insights, Log Analytics.
- Nice to have: Ansible, ELK Stack, Azure VMs, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Apache Kafka.
???? Team & Collaboration: - Report directly to the Product Owner.
- Work within a cross-functional, international team.
- Collaborate with L1/L2 support, tactical engineers, and a strategic architect based in the UK.
???? Requirements:
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes and Azure.
- Strong communication skills in English (C1 level).
