DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office in Warsaw)
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract 12 months
Start date: ASAP/1 month
Rate: 160-200 pln/h (net+vat)

General information: DevSecOps Engineer to join client's DevOps Tools team, responsible for implementing code quality and security standards, integrating quality and security steps into GitLab CI/CD pipelines, and supporting development teams with implementing these standards
Tasks:
- Implement code quality and security standards across development teams and ensure consistent adoption in all projects
- Integrate quality and security checks into GitLab CI/CD pipelines to streamline automated validations and improve workflow
- Support development teams in applying the defined standards and offer guidance on secure coding and quality practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine tooling strategies and improve DevSecOps processes using shared insights
- Monitor and enhance pipeline performance to ensure reliability, scalability, and compliance with internal controls
What we expect from you:
- Minimum 7+ years overall experience in DevOps/DevSecOps related roles
- At least 3 years of experience in designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines and automating security and quality validation workflows (multi-node, HA, regulated environments)
- Demonstrable understanding of code quality and security for Java, Python, and C ecosystems (e.g., SonarQube rulesets, SAST/DAST integrations, dependency scanning)
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences and foster alignment across development teams
- Practical understanding of secure development practices and integrating security controls early in the delivery lifecycle
- English language skills are required
