Project and Role Overview:
You will join an international engineering environment delivering electrical design solutions for large-scale petrochemical and refinery projects. The role involves close cooperation with multidisciplinary teams located across different countries and active participation in the design and execution of complex industrial facilities. The position offers an opportunity to work on global projects while developing expertise in advanced electrical engineering and industrial plant design, with a clear path toward a Senior Electrical Design Engineer role.
Responsibilities:
- Design electrical systems for petrochemical and refinery facilities
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and engineering deliverables
- Develop one-line diagrams, protection and control schematics, terminal connection diagrams, and substation layouts
- Perform electrical calculations, including short-circuit, power balance, cable sizing, lighting, grounding, and lightning protection calculations
- Prepare installation layouts, cable tray routing drawings, lighting and grounding layouts
- Create installation typicals and Material Take-Off (MTO) documentation
- Prepare documentation and drawings based on 3D models using SmartPlant 3D or E3D
- Coordinate technical activities with the Project Lead Engineer and international stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer within a plant engineering company
- Strong knowledge of electrical design for industrial facilities
- Experience with AutoCAD (ACAD), Dialux and MS Office
- Experience preparing documentation and drawings based on SmartPlant 3D or E3D models
- Ability to independently execute engineering projects and technical deliverables
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Fluency in English (B2 or higher)
Nice to have:
- Experience in Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or refinery projects
- Knowledge of SmartPlant 3D
- Experience with ETAP or other power system analysis software
- Knowledge of hazardous area classification
- Experience working in multicultural project environments
