What will your tasks involve?
- Test Creation & Execution: Develop test scenarios, system tests, and regression test suites for embedded modules.
- Scripting & Implementation: Write and maintain test scripts using Python and Ladder Logic.
- Simulating Customer Use Cases: Replicate real-world scenarios, imitating how automation engineers program and interact with the devices in industrial environments.
- Network Communication Analysis: Analyze and interpret network traffic and inter-module communication.
- Test Architecture: Contribute to the overall test architecture for long-lifecycle industrial products.
- Requirement Analysis: Review and work with system and project requirements.
What we expect from you?
- Python: Basic to intermediate proficiency (ability to comfortably read, analyze, and modify existing scripts).
- Ladder Logic: Understanding of PLC programming using Ladder Diagram/Logic.
- Industrial Protocols: Knowledge of industrial networking standards (CIP protocol is a strong plus).
- Network Traffic Analysis: Ability to analyze and interpret communication between embedded modules.
- Embedded Testing: Background in embedded software testing (system testing, regression, test architecture fundamentals).
- English: Advanced level (C1), enabling fluent daily communication in an international project setup.
