We are looking for a highly experienced Engineering Manager with deep expertise in Splunk development, Python, and cloud technologies to join a long-term international project. This is a fully remote opportunity with strategic responsibilities and hands-on development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement high-quality Splunk Technology Add-Ons (TAs).
- Lead technical teams and act as a subject matter expert in Splunk and Python.
- Develop integrations with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) using APIs.
- Configure and administer commercial security solutions (e.g., IDS, NGFW, Identity Management).
- Work with Linux CLI and shell scripting for automation and system tasks.
- Participate in solution design, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, POD leads, offshore teams, and delivery managers.
- Apply Agile methodologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop automation for deployment, monitoring, and testing processes.
- Utilize Design Thinking, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Leverage analytics and test-and-learn approaches to drive hypothesis-based development.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years of overall IT experience.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Splunk development and Python.
- Strong understanding of cloud APIs (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proficiency with Linux command-line and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with SIEM systems and security tools.
- Experience in leading teams and delivering complex technical solutions.
Nice to Have:
- DevOps experience and knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong background in automation and infrastructure as code.
