We’re seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer to design and implement a comprehensive test automation framework for our Power BI analytics solutions. In this role, you’ll collaborate with BI developers, DevOps engineers, and business teams to ensure our reporting products meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and compliance across development, UAT, and production environments
Responsibilities:
- Build and execute automated testing strategies for data, UI, and performance layers.
- Create and maintain scripts to validate:
- Data accuracy (SQL queries, API responses)
- UI consistency (filters, layouts)
- Performance metrics (load times, refresh success)
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Monitor test runs and dataset refreshes; manage alerts and troubleshoot failures.
- Support UAT activities, version control processes, and defect tracking.
- Work closely with development teams to uphold QA best practices.

What we expect:
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, PyTest, NUnit, Postman).
- Proficiency in Python
- Strong knowledge of API testing and scripting (PowerShell, REST).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git, Azure Repos).
- Background in testing data platforms (SQL validation, ETL, reporting) is highly desirable.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Power BI Service, DAX, or Power BI REST APIs.
- Experience with tools like DAX Studio, ALM Toolkit, or Tabular Editor.
