Key responsibilities
- Acting as Git administrator and providing expert support to development teams
- Maintaining and optimizing Git repositories, branching strategies, and access control
- Create and maintain scripts using Perl, ksh, or bash to automate programming and deployment tasks
- Provide support and troubleshooting in Linux environments, preferably RHEL
- Collaborate with development teams to tailor SCM processes to project goals
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
- Ensuring high-quality support and customer satisfaction through proactive problem solving
Profile
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering or technical support
- Expertise in Git as both an administrator and end user
- Good knowledge of Perl, ksh, or bash scripting
- Knowledge of Linux systems; experience with RHEL is a plus
- Knowledge of software development practices and SCM processes
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Customer-oriented and proactive approach to support
