We are looking for experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist – Data Center / POP
Location:hybrid model of work from Warsaw Rate: Up to 115 PLN/hour (B2B) Start: July 2025 – maximum 2 weeks notice period is acceptable
About the Role: We’re looking for a skilled network infrastructure specialist to support and expand our global data center and POP (Point of Presence) environments. You’ll be part of a high-impact team working on backbone, edge, and CDN infrastructure at scale.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience on similar positions Valid CCNA or JNCIA certification Familiarity with POP infrastructure components (e.g., MMR, cross connects, cages, patch panels, ODF) Strong understanding of fiber optics (cable types, connectors, optics, transport technologies) Experience with ordering and managing cross connects and local patching Hands-on experience with provisioning and decommissioning edge capacity Knowledge of network optimization techniques (e.g., migrations, re-stripes, upgrades) Solid grasp of BGP, LACP, IS-IS, and MPLS protocols Ability to troubleshoot complex issues under pressure using appropriate tools and methods Strong documentation habits and organizational skills Comfortable working with both internal teams and external vendors Programming or scripting experience (Python, Bash, etc.) is a strong plus
Responsibilities:
Installing and configuring network and server infrastructure across POPs and data centers Providing both remote and on-site technical support for network operations Planning and executing maintenance, upgrades, and repairs with minimal disruption Estimating power needs and coordinating with engineering and facility teams Collaborating with logistics, engineering, and vendors to deploy new technologies Activating and troubleshooting circuits in cooperation with provisioning teams and ISPs Managing incident and task queues and contributing to deployment projects Using internal tools and scripts to monitor and troubleshoot network and server hardware Maintaining technical documentation and delivering internal training when needed Driving improvements in automation, documentation, and operational processes
