Rate: 180-240 PLN/h net +vat/hTech stack:

Project Description:
We are looking for an experienced SAP FI/CO Consultant to support a defence-sector project. The role focuses on designing and implementing financial accounting and controlling processes aligned with military and government compliance requirements. The consultant will be involved throughout the full SAP project lifecycle and collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders in a secured environment.

- Location: Poland (mandatory)
- Workload: Part-time, 35 hours per week
- Citizenship: NATO country passport holder only
- Security: Eligibility for EU/NATO security clearance is required
Responsibilities:
Financial Process Design & SAP Implementation:
- Design financial accounting (FI) and controlling (CO) processes aligned with defence and military industry standards.
- Participate in end-to-end SAP project activities, including:
- Requirements gathering
- Blueprint design
- System configuration
- Testing and validation
- Deployment and go-live support
- Apply SAP best practices, particularly for government and defence sector compliance (optional but desirable).
Analysis & Process Management:
- Analyze complex financial processes and translate business requirements into SAP FI/CO solutions.
- Conduct gap analysis and propose process improvements for financial operations.
- Develop project documentation, including:
- Functional specifications
- Test scenarios and scripts
- Training and user documentation
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand specific operational and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and deliver end-user training sessions.
- Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and consultants from other SAP modules.
What we expect from you:
Technical Expertise:
- 7–10 years of hands-on SAP FI/CO implementation experience.
- Strong expertise in:
- SAP Financial Accounting (FI)
- SAP Controlling (CO)
- Proven experience with SAP integrations with other modules:
- Sales & Distribution (SD)
- Materials Management (MM)
- Project System (PS)
Industry Experience:
- Preferred: Prior experience in Defence or Military Sector projects.
- Advantage: Experience working in classified or secured environments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of financial processes and process optimization.
- Ability to work in structured, regulated, and high-security project environments.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Education & Certifications:
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Highly desirable: SAP FI/CO certification.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) is a plus.
Security & Compliance Requirements:
- Must be eligible for or currently hold EU/NATO security clearance.
- Ability to successfully pass background and security checks required for defence projects.
- Strong commitment to confidentiality, data protection, and security protocols
