For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Senior Azure Data Engineer
Location: remote / Poland
Branch: project in IT sector
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 6 months
Rate: 150-170 PLN/h net on B2B
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Business working hours
Remote work: 100% remote
Methodology: Scrum

Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, CI/CD, Python
Project:
Building a new strategic big data platform for a large client from the IT sector
What will you do:
- Develop pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) to ingest data from various sources (on-premises, cloud, APIs)
- Participate in code reviews and DevOps practices using Git and CI/CD pipelines
- Build ETL/ELT workflows using ADF, Databricks

What we expect from you:
- Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as Data Engineer
- Working knowledge of: Azure, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, CI/CD
- An appreciation and understanding of Agile methodologies, including knowledge of TDD and BDD
- Experience working in agile software development teams
- Excellent communication skills, able to liaise with other teams and stakeholders
- Being a proactive member of the team when it comes to releases and production issues
- familiarity with DevOps/CloudOps
- Very good command of spoken and written English (min. B2)
What would be a plus:
- Working exposure/experience with one of more of the following: Financial Services, Commodities, Energy Trading, or Market Data
- Experience working with Python programming Language
