Senior Cloud Devops Engineer
Location: remote (Poland)
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract 12 months
Start date: ASAP/1 month
Rate: 170-210 pln/h (net+vat)

General information:
- In this role, you will design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable multi-cloud infrastructure, with a primary focus on AWS and Azure (experience with GCP is a plus)
- As one of the first engineers in our expanding DevOps function, you will play a critical role in establishing standards, building CI/CD pipelines, managing infrastructure deployments, and documenting operational processes. This is a high impact role with strong collaboration across cloud platform, architecture, and application teams
Tasks:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS; GCP is a plus)
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform with advanced coding and modular design practices
- Build, configure, and optimize AKS and EKS clusters for production-grade container workloads
- Automate provisioning, configuration, and scaling of cloud resources
- Implement and maintain observability tooling, including Datadog, Dynatrace, and Prometheus
- Manage and optimize infrastructure deployments for performance, security, and cost efficiency
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for architecture, standards, and operational processes
- Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to best practices in security, networking, and governance
- Collaborate closely with cloud platform and application teams to deliver infrastructure aligned with business and technical requirements
What we expect from you:
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles
- Expert-level hands-on knowledge of Azure and AWS services
- Production experience managing AKS and EKS clusters
- Advanced proficiency with Terraform, including module creation and state management
- Experience with IaC-focused pipelines: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins
- Strong scripting abilities in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Experience with monitoring & observability tools: Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus
- Experience with backend / infrastructure runtime stack: PHP 8.3, MySQL 8 / MariaDB 10.11, Redis, Nginx, Managed PostgreSQL services (AWS RDS, Azure Database for PostgreSQL
- Nice to have:
- Higher Education in fields of computer science, mathematics or similar
- Experience with GCP and GKE.
- Familiarity with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions)
- Exposure to service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd)
