Senior Databricks Consultant / Data Platform Engineer (B2B Contract | Remote)
We are currently looking for an experienced Databricks Consultant to join a project for a leading Swiss energy company. This is an opportunity to contribute to key initiatives focused on cost optimization, platform governance, and data catalog development within a modern data platform environment.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Databricks dashboards for platform cost monitoring and analysis.
- Build and enhance platform monitoring solutions within the Databricks ecosystem.
- Develop and maintain a Streamlit-based lightweight Data Catalog application.
- Support the creation of a Governance Portal leveraging Data Catalog capabilities and Unity Catalog permissions.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and deliver effective solutions.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, particularly dashboard development and platform monitoring (Senior level).
- Experience building applications with Streamlit (Mid+ level or higher).
- Good understanding of Data Governance concepts and Data Catalog solutions.
- Practical experience with Unity Catalog and permissions management.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
