For our Client we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to support the development and operations of SaaS products delivered to customers across the Nordics and global markets. You will join a DevOps‑focused environment where automation, reliability, scalability and security play a central role. This position is ideal for someone, who enjoys ownership, continuous improvements and close collaboration with engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage, operate and enhance Kubernetes-based environments, ensuring stability and optimal performance
- Perform platform maintenance, upgrades and lifecycle management for internal and third‑party software
- Implement GitOps practices to streamline deployments, configuration management and installation processes
- Develop scripts and tooling to increase automation, operational efficiency and repeatability
- Monitor and ensure observability of distributed systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and Azure Monitor
- Improve and extend CI/CD pipelines to boost delivery speed, reliability and quality
- Apply security best practices, oversee secrets management and support compliance requirements
- Maintain and optimize disaster recovery plans, backup strategies and resilience mechanisms
- Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning and support incident investigation and response activities
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (preferably Azure)
- Good understanding of DevOps concepts, tooling and workflows (Git, CI/CD pipelines, automation practices)
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Engineering or equivalent commercial experience
- Very good command of English (written and spoken)
- Customer-oriented mindset, collaborative approach and an interest in modern technologies
- Ability to work independently, with a structured and quality-focused working style
Nice to have
- Knowledge of monitoring tools, security practices and scripting languages
- Experience with performance tuning, capacity planning or conducting post‑incident reviews
