We are currently looking for candidates for the position:

GCP Cloud Engineer
Mode of operation: 100% remote
Type of contract: contract (B2B by Hays Poland)
Working hours: European standard
Languages: Polish, English – both fluent
As a Senior GCP Cloud Security Architect, you will lead and deliver complex cloud architecture and security projects on Google Cloud. You’ll work across various domains including architecture development, platform engineering, migrations, audits, and security implementation. You’ll be expected to operate both independently and as part of a team, engaging directly with clients to advise, challenge, and guide them through their cloud transformation journey.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure, scalable GCP architectures tailored to customer needs (networks, IAM, storage, cost optimization).
- Build and document Landing Zone solutions aligned with Google Cloud best practices.
- Implement and manage security frameworks and controls (Zero Trust, IAM, encryption, logging, monitoring).
- Conduct security reviews of existing GCP environments and provide actionable recommendations.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud architecture and security projects, including migrations, platform engineering, audits, and security development.

Requirements:
- Extensive hands-on experience in GCP architecture and implementation, with a proven track record of successful customer projects.
- Google Cloud certifications: Professional Cloud Architect and/or Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
- Strong understanding of Google DevSecOps practices and toolchain.
- Experience in designing and implementing Landing Zone structures.
- Solid knowledge of security and compliance standards such as GDPR, ISO, and NIST.
- Demonstrated ability to take ownership of solutions and client relationships — not just executing tasks, but actively advising and steering.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
