For our Client we are currently looking for Candidates for the position of:
Senior Java Software Engineer (finance)
Location: remote
Branch: project in Finance sector
Job type: B2B (with Hays Poland)
Length: long-term cooperation, first contract for 12 months
Rate: 120-160 PLN/h net on B2B
Start date: ASAP
Working hours: Business working hours
Remote work: 100% remote
Tech stack:
Java, Spring, AWS, FX, Ansible, Linux
Project:
Project for a large client from the IT / Financial sector
What will you do:
- Developing custom pricing and trading platforms
- Distributing market data to external clients
- Maintain and enhance the existing e-trading platform
- Collaborate with various eFI teams
- Contribute to shaping the platform’s future through new projects and evolving business requirements

What we expect from you:
- Strong experience in electronic trading systems
- Expertise in low-latency programming
- Proficient in Java and Object-Oriented Design
- Familiarity with AWS and preferably Ansible
- Solid understanding of Linux systems
- Networking knowledge: TCP, UDP, Ethernet, HTTP
- Minimum 5 years of experience in:
- Developing multi-threaded / concurrent applications
- Code analysis, performance tuning, and profiling of real-time, high-volume, low-latency systems
- In-depth knowledge of FX or E-Fixed Income trading practices
- Ability to clearly explain complex issues to diverse audiences
- Strong communication skills, especially with senior traders and developers
- General understanding of eTrading systems
- Very good command of spoken and written English (min. B2)
What would be a plus:
- Experience with Agile Development Practices:
- TDD, BDD, Automated Builds, Continuous Integration
- Familiarity with Scrum methodologies
