Your new role 

What you'll need to succeed 

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field
• 15+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server in highly available, post-translational, and OLAP environments
• Deep expertise in SQL Server 2019, 2022, and 2025
• Mastery of Always On and other high‑availability features
• Strong experience troubleshooting integrity, performance, migration, replication, log shipping, blocking/deadlocking, connectivity, and security issues
• Advanced skills in performance tuning and query optimization using SQL Profiler, Performance Monitor, and related tools
• Ability to diagnose CPU, memory, I/O, storage, and other resource bottlenecks
• Strong knowledge of backups, restores, recovery models, DMVs, clustering, mirroring, auditing, and replication
• Proven experience implementing operational automation
• Deep understanding of indexing, index management, statistics, encryption, configuration, and patching
• Solid SQL development skills (stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, indexes, constraints)
• Strong documentation skills and experience supporting technical users
• Availability for on‑call duties
